The 12th shuttle mission to the International Space Station. Also known as ISS Assembly Flight UF-1, Space Shuttle Endeavour delivered the Expedition Four Crew and returned the Expedition Three crew to Earth. STS-108 also delivered the Raffaello Multi-Purpose Logistics Module to the station.
ISS Assembly Flight 7A. Installation on the International Space Station of the Joint Airlock. This will give station crewmembers the capability of conducting spacewalks from the orbiting laboratory using either the Russian Orlan spacesuits or U.S. spacesuits.
Expand the International Space Station by installing the initial section of a framework that eventually will hold systems needed to provide power and cooling for future research laboratories.
Fifth flight of the Italian built multipurpose logistics module (MPLM). Delivery of Expedition 5 crew to the ISS and three space walks to perform a variety of station servicing tasks.
ISS assembly flight. Install first left-side truss segment (ITS P1). Crew and Equipment Translation Aid (CETA) Cart B. Deliver the Expedition Six crew to the station and return Expedition Five to Earth.

During the 11-day mission to the International Space Station, the STS-115 crew resumed construction of the station by installing the integrated P3/P4 truss segment with its two large solar arrays.
The crew of STS-116 will deliver a third truss segment, a SPACEHAB module and other key components during the shuttle's 20th mission to the International Space Station. This may be the most complex station assembly mission ever attempted.
